We prepare children for the 11 Plus entrance exam required for admission to West Kirby Grammar School, Calday Grammar School, Wirral Grammar School for Boys, and Wirral Grammar School for Girls.
We also provide tuition for entrance exam preparation for Upton Hall School and St. Anselm’s College in Birkenhead.
In Chester, tuition is offered for children who wish to take the Entrance exams for Chester Queens and Chester Kings schools.
We offer two tailored tuition options to suit your child’s needs: one to one tuition and small group sessions. Both options are designed to build confidence and prepare your child for success in the 11+ exam.
At 11 Plus Wirral, we offer personalised one-to-one tuition in the comfort of our expert tutors’ homes. Each tutor has a dedicated tuition room, equipped with all the necessary resources to provide targeted support across a range of subjects.

Our small group tuition offers a focused, supportive environment for your child’s 11 Plus preparation.
Classes are held each week at Hoylake Community Centre from Monday through to Thursday. With a maximum of 6 children per group each session lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes, providing ample time for learning and practise.
Our small group setting ensures individual attention while encouraging peer learning, making it a great way for your child to prepare for the exam.

The 11 Plus course begins in early October, allowing your child to benefit from a full year of preparation.
Monday through to Thursday.
4pm to 5:15pm
5:15pm to 6:30pm
Starting early gives your child ample time to master the key question types at a comfortable pace.
The course covers all three subjects in the 11 Plus exam: Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning – with the latter two subjects not taught in schools, making practise essential.
Classes run throughout the school year, including the holidays if required, so your child stays on track all the way to exam day.
All practice materials, including past papers and worksheets, are provided to reinforce learning and ensure thorough preparation.
With a maximum of 6 children per group, each student gets plenty of attention and support.
Start in October to give your child a full year of tuition before the exam.
Cover all essential 11 Plus subjects, with plenty of time to practice and improve.
