11 Plus- small group and one to one tuition.

Upton Hall St Anselm’s Primary Maths and English.

11 Plus Wirral specialises in one to one and small group tuition.

We prepare children for the 11 Plus entrance exam, which children need to take if they wish to be considered for a place at one of these schools:

West Kirby Grammar School, Calday Grammar School, Wirral Grammar School for Boys and Wirral Grammar School for Girls.

We also offer tuition for the entrance exam preparation for: Upton Hall School and St Anselm’s College in Birkenhead.

Small Group Tuition

Takes place at Hoylake Community Centre each week. Groups are a maximum of 6 children.

Each tutorial is 1 hour and 15 minutes long.

All practice materials provided.

One to One Tuition

We offer one to one in the tutors’ homes. Each tutor has their own tuition room filled with all the necessary resources to deliver a wide range of subjects.

Group tuition

The 11 Plus course commences in early October each year. This is the best time your child can start. They will then have the full year to learn and practise the vast amount of question types and will be able to learn at a pace that is not rushed. The earlier your child starts, the better chance they have at succeeding. The exam consists of three subjects; Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning with the latter two subjects not taught in schools. It is vitally important that the children familiarise themselves with these areas and have plenty of time to practise and improve.

Classes take place each week right through the whole school year and up to the point when the children take the 11 plus exam. We even provide tuition during the school holidays if required.

Where? Hoylake Parade Community Centre

When? Every week day Monday to Thursday

How long? Each tutorial lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Times? 4:00pm – 5:15pm and 5:15pm to 6:30pm

Please be aware that the 11 plus exam usually takes place on the third Monday of September each year.

All 11 Plus Practice materials, such as worksheets, textbooks and practice tests are provided including a file and bag for storage.

In addition to this, we offer our very popular 11 Plus Mock exams which run from May to September each year.

One to one tuition

Takes place in tutors home once a week. Each tutorial lasts 1 hour.

Tuition Fees

One to one tuition is from £32 per 1 hour.
Small group tuition is £25 per 1 hour and 15 minutes of tuition. (paid on a termly basis)
